To assist in management of the problem of the electromagnetic compatibility of wireless telephones with other electronic devices, the Spectrum Sciences Institute, in conjunction with APREL Laboratories, will offer two comprehensive day-long Seminars. The Executive Briefing will provide explanations required by non-technical executives, while the Technical Briefing will focus on providing engineering explanations to help with solution implementations.

A one day briefing on the issues, their root causes, the characteristics of sources, receivers ("victims") and their environment (RF and Auditory). It will include a review of the scope and limitations of recent studies, and examine the conclusions while discussing possible future studies and solutions. This seminar will offer more in-depth information on the interaction of wireless telephones with other devices (including Hearing Aids, Assistive Listening Devices, and Pacemakers) to allow participants to better understand the nature and root causes of interference.
